This year, I am stepping into a new chapter.
But not because life was easy. 
I failed hard and through it, I won big.
I was stretched, humbled, cracked open. I lost people I thought would walk with me forever.
And I made room for the ones who truly see me. I learned that growth doesn’t always look like forward motion.
Sometimes it looks like heartbreak.
Like starting again.
Like trusting yourself when the outcome is uncertain. I found faith. Real, unshakable faith.
The kind that holds you when nothing else does. I learned how strong my body is when I listen instead of punish.
How powerful my voice is when I stop doubting it. I honor where I’ve been, but I’m not carrying it into what comes next. 
This year, I choose alignment over proving.
Peace over pressure.
Purpose over fear. This is the season I rise.
Wiser. Softer. Stronger than ever.

We visited @aypapidenver in Cherry Creek for the Polar Bear Express pop-up, where the bar fully embraces holiday cheer with twinkling lights, garlands, and tiny Santa hats on every chair. EDM holiday remixes kept the energy high, delighting guests and providing a contrast to the bar’s signature Latin vibe. Cocktail highlights included Bad Santa (a bourbon gem with fig, lemon, Montenegro, allspice dram, and soda…our favorite), Tipsy Prancer (tequila with falernum, cranberry, ginger, and lime), the indulgent Coquito in a coconut, and Resting Grinch Face. The food impressed as well, with standout scallop crudo, ceviche, guacamole and chips, serrano ham with Idiazabal cheese, and choripan sandwich. Holiday Tea at the @brownpalace feels like stepping inside Denver’s most storied tradition. Recently, our Editor Betsy Marr gathered nine of her favorite women, and together they toasted the season, two birthdays, and the simple joy of setting our daily chaos aside for a few hours. Surrounded by the glittering décor and the iconic Debutante Chandelier, the ladies sipped English tea (and plenty of bubbly), indulged in warm scones and perfect confections, and listened to the piano drift through the atrium. @ladiesluxerides whisked the group from school drop-off to the hotel and back again, which made the entire day feel seamless and special.
