Winter Wanderland Light Walk
Cherry Creek North’s stunning canopy of more than 600 trees is adorned with nearly a million twinkling lights, creating a bright and festive atmosphere, even as the days get shorter. Illuminated 24-hours a day with LED energy-efficient bulbs, visitors are encouraged to wander the neighborhood’s 16 blocks to find eight special musical trees, elaborately decorated with strands of lights choreographed to music in a timed show. At each musical tree, visitors can register for a $1,000 Cherry Creek North shopping spree.

Blossoms of Light
For over 30 years, the Denver Botanic Gardens has transformed into a twinkling holiday wonderland with its Blossoms of Light extravaganza. Stroll through meandering paths of more than 500,000 LED lights as you sip on warm drinks and seasonal snacks. This year’s experience has new features and even more lights, including a 200-foot-long and 17-foot-tall choreographed light tunnel in the O’Fallon Perennial Walk. The family friendly event has become a time-honored Denver tradition and promises plenty of holiday cheer.

Cherry Creek Holiday Market
For the second year in a row, Cherry Creek North will play host to the Cherry Creek Holiday Market, a collection of over 30 vendors representing Colorado’s local makers and artisans. The market runs seven days a week on Fillmore Plaza, and includes shopping, live music, and holiday cocktails. The free event gives shoppers a chance to find truly unique, locally made gifts ranging from cashmere socks to candies and caramels.

Santa’s Flight Academy + Sensory Santa
Every year, Cherry Creek Shopping Center becomes the unofficial headquarters for all things Santa Claus, with Santa’s Flight Academy taking center stage in Grand Court. A 22-foot sleigh, a team of elves and the big man himself will meet your little believers for the ultimate holiday experience. Falling “snow” sets the tone, and the 3,000-square-foot Flight Academy bestows each visiting cadet with a flight crew badge. This year, Cherry Creek Shopping Center has partnered with Autism Speaks to create a unique experience for children with special needs. Individuals who are on the spectrum and their families are invited to a private photo session where extra care is taken to support the sensory, physical, and other developmental needs to make this a magical holiday experience.

Menorah Lighting
Chabad of Cherry Creek will host a community Menorah Lighting celebration at Gart Plaza on 3rd Avenue and Milwaukee Street on the first night of Chanukah. Featuring face painting, fire juggling, traditional sweet treats, and fun activities for all ages, the event is quickly becoming a Cherry Creek tradition. Enjoy hot latkes, sufganiyot and crafts as you celebrate the Festival of Lights.

Small Business Weekend
This annual weekend after Thanksgiving highlights Cherry Creek North’s more than 125 locally owned shops and 30+ locally owned restaurants and invites visitors to join the nationwide Shop Small movement to help the neighborhood’s small businesses thrive. Properties will be offering special promotions, holiday treats, cocktails and even live entertainment. Choose from boutiques like Perch, Denver Darling, Artisan Center, Show of Hands, Mariel, and more for gifts that will put a smile on anyone’s face.

Domino Effect
Making their United States debut in Cherry Creek North this year, interactive art installation Domino Effect by Creos features 120 brightly colored dominos, each with its own sound profile. This international exhibit by Ingrid Ingrid is an entertaining experience that brings people together, fostering a spirit of cooperation. Visitors are encouraged to play together and collaborate in an outdoor setting, creating an infinite variety of musical and luminous effects in the process.
