Culinary Fest @ The Little Nell

Something’s cookin’ up at The Little Nell in Aspen.

The world renowned Aspen Mountain luxury hotel is hosting their second annual Culinary Fest, starting August 30th through September 2nd, and festival participants receive 40 percent off accommodations at Aspen’s only Five-Star, Five-Diamond resort.

Since it’s at The Nell, the universe says everything must be flawless…and it will be.

Nevertheless, the who’s who of illustrious chefs and sommeliers includes Matthew Zubrod, Culinary Director at The Little Nell; Two-Michelin Star Chef Gabriel Kreuther from his namesake restaurant in New York; Three-Michelin Star Chef Michael Tusk, Executive Chef and Owner of Quince in San Francisco; Krista Garcia, Executive Chef at Hotel Wailea in Maui; and Two-Michelin Star  Chef de Cuisine Richard Lee and Culinary Director Paul Chung from Saison in San Francisco.

Wine experts include Little Nell sommeliers Jesse Libby, Jon Koch and Rachael Liggett-Draper, joined by Jay Fletcher, Master Sommelier. Enjoy a variety of culinary and wine experiences, both elegant and casual, service from expert sommeliers, and a soirée atop Aspen Mountain.

Tuesday, August 30 

6 – 8 pm | Welcome Reception | The Wine Bar + Courtyard – Meet and greet with the lineup of Relais & Châteaux chefs, and enjoy passed champagne, wine, and hors d’oeuvres.

Wednesday, August 31

7 – 10:30 am | Breakfast | Element 47 – Enjoy the Element 47 breakfast buffet at your leisure, along with a Bloody Mary and Mimosa bar.

12 pm | Garden Lunch | Element 47 – Spend your afternoon indulging in a four-course wine-paired lunch led by Krista Garcia, Executive Chef at Hotel Wailea in Maui; and Two-Michelin Star Chef de Cuisine Richard Lee and Culinary Director Paul Chung from Saison in San Francisco.

6 – 9:30 pm | Sundeck Soirée |  Aspen Mountain – Ride the gondola to the top of Aspen Mountain for a party at The Sundeck. Enjoy food stations from each Relais & Châteaux chef, drinks, and live music.

Thursday, September 1

7 – 10:30 am | Breakfast | Element 47 – Enjoy the Element 47 breakfast buffet at your leisure, along with a Bloody Mary and Mimosa bar.

12 pm | Sommelier Lunch | Ajax Tavern – Join guest Sommelier Jay Fletcher as well as Two-Michelin Star Chef Gabriel Kreuther from his namesake restaurant in New York and Three-Michelin Star Chef Michael Tusk, Executive Chef and Owner of Quince in San Francisco for a four-course wine-paired lunch.

7 pm | Relais & Châteaux Gala Dinner |  Element 47 – Celebrate the final night of Culinary Fest with a gala dinner at Element 47 featuring an eight-course tasting menu paired with fine wines.

Friday, September 2 

7 – 10:30 am | Farewell Breakfast | Element 47– Say farewell at Element 47 with a decadent breakfast buffet, along with a Bloody Mary and Mimosa bar.
