Escape to Four Seasons Vail

Always a favorite amongst locals and visitors alike, the world-renowned Four Seasons Resort Vail has been elevated to enviable new heights this winter, with reimagined spaces and transformative new programming. Following a complete redesign of the spa and the addition of several new specialty suites, the property also unveiled two highly anticipated offerings just in time for ski season. The Chalet, a fully renovated guest-only ski lounge and concierge experience, and Tavernetta Vail, a new flagship restaurant created in partnership with the James Beard Foundation Award-winning and Michelin Star-awarded Frasca Hospitality Group.

THE SUITES

New to the property this season are The Specialty Suites, designed by Liubasha Rose, Creative Director of Rose Ink Workshop. Each of the expansive suites reflects her profound inspiration drawn from the natural beauty of Vail’s landscape.  Rose explains, “The design elements of this project are deeply inspired by the exquisite beauty of the Vail landscape. Velvety curtain fabrics in slate and rosy-tan echo the soft, undulating hills, bringing a touch of the outdoors into every room. Our cool, soft grey, hand-washed plaster walls are gently textured, feeling as though they’ve been painted with pigments directly from the earth and enhancing the guests’ connection to nature. Textured dark and light wood and sophisticated, detailed finishes to lounge seating and chairs combine to create a cozy, comfortable, and luxurious environment—a space that wraps you in a warm, comforting embrace after a day of exploring the wonders of Vail Mountain.”

THE SPA

Fresh off a complete renovation, the Spa at Four Seasons has been reimagined with a fresh space by the renowned Rose Ink Workshop. This state-of-the-art transformation encompasses 13 enhanced treatment rooms, modernized lounges and dressing rooms, rejuvenated hot tub, sauna, steam room and relaxation spaces, all designed to elevate the guest experience to new heights.

To coincide with the renovation, the spa has reimagined its complete experience by introducing a comprehensive wellness program centered around the core pillars of Rest, Recovery, Sleep, Slowing Down and Meditation. This innovative approach to wellness offers extended services that prioritize results-driven rituals in collaboration with international partners including several carefully curated skin and body care collections, all of which share the brand’s ethos and wellness-forward philosophy.

“We are thrilled to unveil our newly redesigned spa, a project that epitomizes our commitment to delivering exceptional and transformative wellness experiences to our guests and homeowners,” says Jerome Arribas, General Manager of Four Seasons Resort and Residences Vail. “Combining Rose Ink Workshop’s creative design vision with esteemed brands that are pioneering the spa industry allows our expert therapists to offer a unique, holistic, and unparalleled approach to wellness, especially important in our active resort town.”

Four Seasons Resort Vail is the first property within the Four Seasons family to feature EviDenS, a prestigious skincare line renowned for its effective, luxurious products. In addition, the spa has partnered with Ground Wellbeing, a collection of 100% vegan, natural, products that nourish the body and soul using ritualized self-care, as well as Comfort Zone, which brings a beautiful connection to Italy with its conscious, science-based approach to skincare. A new retail partner, Back Label, is an exquisite wellness-wear brand from Italy that uses non-toxic, next generation fabrics and employs a slow fashion mindset. The inclusion of Therabody’s cutting-edge recovery tools ensures that guests have access to the ultimate in relaxation and recovery.

Throughout the spa, guests will find a tranquil design that combines natural elements with rich textures inspired by the Rocky Mountains. The treatment rooms are a haven of comfort and elegance, designed to enhance the therapeutic experience. The revamped locker rooms and shower areas offer a modern, luxurious feel, while the hot tub and relaxation areas provide the perfect setting for unwinding before or after treatments. Artworks were exclusively created for the space with local and foraged flowers. Drawing inspiration from botanical textures and colors found in the local forestry, Venezuelan artist Vanessa Requena experimented with a wide variety of mediums including cyanotypes, watercolors, and acrylics to evoke the richness of life found in nature.

In terms of services and treatments, guests can now indulge in an unparalleled spa journey that combines cutting-edge wellness practices with the tranquil beauty of the Vail Valley landscape. The new spa is a testament to the resort’s commitment to providing exceptional, transformative experiences that cater to the needs of today’s wellness-conscious travelers. Signature treatments include The Signature Extreme 360° Beauty Ceremony, in partnership with EviDenS, Revitalizing Mineral Mud Wrap, in partnership with Comfort Zone, and The Sleep Ritual, created with GROUND Wellbeing products, which guides the mind and body into deep slumber with flowing massage techniques and mindful breathwork.

THE CHALET

Nestled in the heart of Vail Village, The Chalet offers an unparalleled guest-only lounge, combining ski-in, ski-out convenience with sophisticated, alpine-inspired elegance. Designed by Studio Collective, The Chalet reflects the luxurious comfort that defines Four Seasons Vail. Guests can enjoy modern locker rooms, the latest ski equipment, and a private lounge with sweeping views of Vail Village and the surrounding mountains. High ceilings, warm finishes, and plush seating create a welcoming atmosphere, ideal for unwinding by the fireplace after a day on the mountain. “The Chalet sets a new standard for your skiing experience and is also an invitation to pause and fully immerse yourself in our sophisticated lounge,” says Jerome Arribas, General Manager at Four Seasons Vail.
