Holidays at HALCYON

Our friends at HALCYON would love to see you this holiday season, beginning with taking the guess work and tireless hours out of your kitchen and into their dining room for Thanksgiving.

Local Jones will offer a fall-esque prix fixe meal, sure to make guests feel right at home with a warm and inviting neighborhood feel. On Thursday, November 25 from 4 – 8 p.m., delight in a menu of elevated Thanksgiving favorites curated by Chef Josh Sutcliff, priced at $35 per person. Feast on smoked turkey with brown butter stuffing and complete with gooseberry and jalepeño compote, classic gravy, pomme puree and yorkshire pudding. To round out the delicious meal, gobble up a sweet dessert of buttercup squash pie with infused Chantilly cream, lemon zest and olive oil.

For the rest of your holidays, think about heading for HACYON’s rooftop for a Colorado-inspired retreat as they bring back Après in the Clouds, just in time for ski season. Guests will enjoy private luxury cabanas uniquely designed to bring the essence of Aspen and Vail to the rooftop – each equipped with a fireplace, cozy seating and plush blankets. While cozied up in their very own winter wonderland, guests will be greeted by HALCYON’s “Hot Handlers,” there to provide all of the fixings for a seasonal experience including a selection of special holiday cocktails such as Mexican Hot Chocolate and Mulled Wine.

For some pre-or post-dinner fun, HALCYON’s famed Gear Garage boasts rooftop tailgating with complimentary games including putt putt, putter ball, washer toss, yard pong, giant ring toss and cornhole. Play a round or two of winterized Curling on the rooftop’s rink, available to hotel guests and locals for reservation and complete with a bucket filled with an assortment of beer or seltzer. Plus, there will be plenty of chic photo opportunities for guests and the whole neighborhood (think: on a ski lift while sipping a warm cocktail in a winter wonderland!)
