Cucinelli Unveils Womens Fall ’25

Inner Guides

The collection tells the story of a natural and inner world, exploring the tensions and harmony between instinct and reason, two universal processes that guide both our daily lives and the great dreams of our existence. The instinct for natural nuances, craftsmanship, authenticity, ease, and the pleasures of touch bring us closer to what belongs to us, to who we are, and to what makes us feel good. Reason, on the other hand, speaks through the finest tailoring traditions, the quality of materials and products, and all the timeless aesthetic codes that define elegance. In the new collection, the dualism between instinct and reason is expressed in a relaxed, everyday manner. The reason behind elegance, tradition, and formality is enriched by creative impulse and an imperfect touch, where the “error” or the “out of place” guided by instinct, brings authenticity and charm.

Unexpected Everyday

Craftsmanship and tailoring are interpreted in an everyday key, creating urban-side atmospheres that offer a contemporary perspective even on timeless classics. Horse blazers, waterproof capes, ribbons on poplin shirts, and shiny lavallière ties evoke order and the world of equestrianism, but the equestrian-cut trousers are worn – with one harmoniously misplaced note – with feminine flats. The British flair of Prince of Wales checks, tweeds, and tartans is made unique by unexpected details: stitched denim under-collars, waist-defining belts, and shimmering embroidered gems. Full skirts, mini or midi, are worn with chevalier boots featuring monili-embellished spurs. Knit blazers or unstructured fabrics convey a relaxed and welcoming lifestyle. Matching sets don’t follow the usual rules; they emphasise contrasts and vibrancy, giving rise to new combinations made of shirts and trousers, blouses and skirts, blending patterns and solid colours. The three main accessories are boots, belts, and gloves – all elements that introduce a precious play of references between soft leathers, artisanal details, and the modern feminine world.

Dualism and Chromatic Harmony

In terms of colour, the two fundamental poles of the collection are opposed, with contrasts becoming the key harmonies: the light and natural tones of Panama illuminate both the traditional patterns and the deeper shades of burgundy and brown.
